Alien: Isolation framerate and lag

    Alien: Isolation framerate and lag


    I've done everything I've seen. I've done two soft reboots, four hard reboots, reinstalled the game three times, changed settings on my t.v., and still nothing. I have over 65% HD space available. AI is absolutely unplayable with this lag. 127 flamethrower
    ammo used up in one shot, from hiding, on the alien, and it still eats my damn face. All the beginning title sequences lag, the menu planet lags, walking once a level loads lags hardcore. Ive got 37 hours into my first playthrough, and havent had an issue
    until now. Why does this seem to be a non issue with the developers.

    Alien: Isolation Lag

    Go into the advanced tv settings and turn off features like motion blur. Motion blur could have many names. If your tv is advertised as having a 120Htz mode or some other Hertz mode higher than 60 then it has a motion blur feature which should be disabled

    Go into the advanced tv settings and turn off features like motion blur. Motion blur could have many names. If your tv is advertised as having a 120Htz mode or some other Hertz mode higher than 60 then it has a motion blur feature which should be disabled

    I don't notice any input lag.

    Do you have extra features activated on your TV?

    The more processing the TV has to do the more input lag you will notice.

    If your TV has a game mode use that otherwise switch off extra features like the 100/200htz mode as they just increase processing time which means more noticeable input lag.
