Yeah, loads of aliens. lol, I know you're being sarcastic.

Heck if that game had a xenomorph in it, it might have been good.

 

Definately the best "Alien" game to date.

Watching people play this game on "Youtube" ok if you want to get a bit of an idea what the game generally looks like.

However it doesn't give you a true representation of the graphics and it certainly does not convey the atmosphere of dread and terror you get in this game.

I picked up some Turtle Beaches to get the most out of this game and "The Evil Within" and with the headset on it's like you are THERE.

You are IN the Ridley Scott "Alien" universe you will think twice before taking a step anywhere if you think the Alien is anywhere near you.

 

I'll be able to play for the first time Monday night. I love slowed paced games where you sneak around the whole time. I'm going to start on the hardest difficulty. My only fear is, is that the saves will annoy me. When I hear peoples gripes about the game,
they always say the save game function is woeful.

 

Having fixed manual save points does add to the sense of Survival Horror.

If you could save at any time there would be not sense of danger and you'd just simply reload after every wrong step.

It can seem frustrating at times but as you get your bearings and especially once you understand where you are going it's a lot easier to cope and the save point spacing doesn't seem as severe.

I might pick it up when the price drops because I feel hesistant to drop $60 on a game that to me has a low replay value in my opinion.

Please understand that It isn't my intention to be disrespectful to the Alien Franchise, but I got tons of replay value with Aliens vs Predator and Aliens Colonial Marines

They're very different types of games and you clearly prefer the FPS versions.

Nothing wrong with that at all. Just because "Alien" offers you something new doesn't necessarily mean you'll find it fun.

Definately worth picking up when you're happy to do that.

There are too many games coming out at the same time and I need to choose wisely because getting your money's worth from a full priced / $60 game is important to me.

I am sure that I will enjoy playing " Alien Isolation ", but at the moment it is all about Destiny and soon it will be about Sunset Overdrive also
