    Alan Wake won't install from PAL disc


    Alan Wake was added to BC today, as confirmed by Major Nelson. My friends can see it in their digital collection but when I put my PAL disc in, I'm told it's not playable here.

    I have the latest preview update installed and I've done a hard reboot. The disc is fine, it plays on my 360 and is in perfect condition. Anyone else?

    Has anyone been able to install backward compatible DLC from DISC (not digital)

    I installed Alan Wake from a disc and all the DLC showed up to install after that. No probs...

    I clicked on manage game after I installed it and the DLC's showed up to install.

    I loved Alan Wake so would very much welcome Alan Wake 2.

    There was discussions of a Remaster of Alan Wake but MS have put out a statement saying they are focusing on Quantum Break but I can't see why not.

    Alan Wake won't install from PAL disc

    There was a slight hiccup with this morning's launch, but should be resolved now. Try again and post back if it still isn't working.

    I'm still unable to install it, plus I downloaded Pac-Man but that won't launch either "This game might not be playable yet" it says. This is after another hard reboot

    Pac-Man is now launching for me, but Alan Wake still won't install from the disc. Do you know if PAL discs are enabled? I remember there was an issue when BC first launched where PAL discs didn't work.

    Left my console unplugged for a while and tried again, still won't install from the disc. A friend of mine in America can't get his to install either (I'm in the UK)

    All discs should be working now. We just ran through a full verification pass of them here and finished up at 10:37am Pacific. If you still have issues, and are a Preview user, please send us a File-a-Bug submission.

    Alan Wake won't install from PAL disc

    I finally got mine to install, and I don't know if this was just a coincidence but it only worked when I was logged out. You could try that
