Alan Wake Remastered (Quantum Break Preorder)?

I did really love Alan Wake, but it kills me that my burning questions have never been answered and I don't know if I want to reopen that wound.

It's like The Evil Within, I was dying to know more about what the hell just happened in that game and finally the DLC gave me a lot of answers, it was a good feeling, haha.

 

Great game but only just played it last year. I rather the time spent remastering Alan wake just went directly to finishing off Quantum Break.

As much as I loved Alan Wake, I would much much much much much much much rather have an Alan Wake 2 than another remastered game on my One.

 

Alan Wake was a great ge with a very good story. I would probably pick it up again, but really want to see a sequel! The game has left me in suspense.

 

This was a question in the survey I got in a newsletter. I don't get it. Quantum Break is looking very good IMHO, and if it's delayed, so be it. Why the sudden, seeming panic and damage control? Better a delay than a Assassin's Creed: Unity poo-storm at
launch.

Q: The survey asked if I would, or how likely would I be to pre-order Quantum Break based on a description, "Time-bending action game..." or something. A description of genre, nothing more than a blurb, it was.

A: Very unlikely. It could come with a personal visit and a kiss from Megan Fox... pre-order culture is bad for consumers. So, no. "Get a free dlc with your borked AC:U kids, you already paid through the nose for it when you bought it
blind!

Q: Would I pre-order Quantum Break if Alan Wake was remastered and offered in the deal? Or if I get a unique outfit, a gun, or some extra time with the game through exclusive content?

A: An Alan Wake remake would be more incentive, but still... no.

This promotional survey, gauging consumer reactions, and trying to get people to buy a game before the game is launched -- thing. It's bad for the Quantum Break IP.

Why not just let the delays be delays and have Remedy make the best game possible? How about we have that ethos be the mark of quality from Microsoft! When the game is launched let it speak for itself, let the reviews fly, and the critical acclaim and awards
[or not] ensue.

This desperate need to get our money for products we haven't seen yet is annoying and seedy. As is roping in an old successful franchise as a freebie to sell a new IP. It stinks of desperation! {=|
