Alan Wake Remastered (Quantum Break Preorder)?

Rumors have been floating around about Quantum Break being pushed back until 2016. There is also talks of bringing back Alan Wake to help hold fans over and have it as a possible preorder bonus.

I loved Alan Wake so would very much welcome Alan Wake 2.

There was discussions of a Remaster of Alan Wake but MS have put out a statement saying they are focusing on Quantum Break but I can't see why not.

just wondering when I'll be receiving my digital codes for Quantum Break Windows 10, Alan Wake and Alan Wake American Nightmare for XB1 from my preorder purchase of Quantum Break on April 4????

I said earlier, given the choice I'd always take a proper sequel over a remake but I have enjoyed quite a few remakes since this new generation launched.

I agree, tCruzin. Would love to play Alan Wake (remastered) on my Xbox One. Was one of my favorites, with a great story, on the 360.

 

that was a very good game, and i will play the hell out of it again, my only worry is that it seems like a strange thing to offer as a pre-order bonus, almost like they're saying "we're giving you a really awesome game! in hopes that you will overlook the
fact that Quantum Break isn't very good..."

either way, i'd start throwing money at the screen if i thought it'd help.

 

I remember Alan Wake being delayed, time after time. When I finally got my hands on it, it was well worth the wait. It was a well polished game, that I didn't want to end. I don't even remember any glitches; nor did it require any post-launch updates, like
most games do now.

 

This would without a doubt make me preorder the second it was announced, I loved Alan Wake.

 

Never played Alan wake on past gen if it was free with preorder I'd try it out for sure

 

@Zero Divided, while Alan Wake is a very good game I don't think it's because Quantum Break will be bad if it's packaged together. In fact, I higly doubt that's the reason. I just think it's a good gesture for the longer wait.

If they do release Alan Wake for the Xbox One I hope more people will give it a chance. There were quite of few people who overlooked this game on the 360 (I was almost one of them).

 

I love Alan Wake and will play it anyway. Remedy doesn't make bad games, so I know Quantum Break will be good, giving AW away as a pre order bonus would be to prime people for the eventual AW2. Either way, sign me up.

 

@tCruzin4lyfe, you are most likely correct, as PICK 34 pointed out, Remedy doesn't make a bad game, it just throws up a flag because the only other time a dev gave away a game was for Halo:MMC, and they are doing that because the game was broken, so they
are giving away Halo 3:ODST to make up for it.

would be cool if they let you download Alan Wake when Quantum Break comes up for pre-order, so you can play AW a few weeks before QB releases.

 

Yea i read about this in my current Xbox survey email and i would totally love a go at Alan Wake again as that was one of my favorite Xbox console exclusives and have wished for a Alan Wake 2 since. I remember this looking sweet on the 360 so an Xbox One
version would be beautiful especially the lighting.

 

Didn't played Alan Wake on Xbox 360 and not looking after it on Xbox one.

Funny,Black Tusk just announced that there won't be a Gears of war remakes,so a new remake rumor just shows up.....

A Quantum Break delays,mignt be possible. (no surprise).
