Alan Wake, missing DLC after reedeming code from the Quantum Break box

As mentioned in the title, i used the Alan Wake code from the box but received the main game only. On the box it says that i should get Alan Wake + both DLC's but when i go to DLC section in the game's menu it says that i can buy the codes, not download
    them for free.

    :)

I have the same problem as kevcio1, on my xbox one, i entered the only code on the card that came with my physical copy of quantum break , which clearly states "Alan Wake + The signal + The Writer add-on packs", but selecting these add on packs in store
costs money, I only got the game and no dlc! Please fix Alan Wake, missing DLC after reedeming code from the Quantum Break box :(

Alan Wake, missing DLC after reedeming code from the Quantum Break box

    Thank you!

I'll admit my living room looks like a Sony sanctuary and Microsoft's consoles get little love, mainly first party titles.

That said, holy cow, is the customer support evident and available for the XBOX gaming community!!!

I have no doubt my issue will be resolved as intended for me the consumer just by using the chat and seeing the "team" within the forums working on issues.

I dread calling or contacting Sony about anything PSN related. I had to send a picture of my "sanctuary" just to drive home the point of my loyalty to them.

I don't even feel worried that you guys will address it. I know you will, that's my first impression. There's a mighty big compliment from a "Sony fanboy."

I used the code and was able to install Alan Wake, but the ad-on section shows only "The Writer" DLC for download, "The Signal" is nowhere to be found on the store (I'm from Chile by the way). Please help me guys.

  10. Hey everyone!

When you get a chance, please try the following steps to see if you are able to access the DLC:

    • From the Home screen of your Xbox One console, navigate to My Games & Apps.
    • Under the Games tab, select Alan Wake and press the Menu button.
    • Select Manage Game and on the right side check for the DLC under the Ready to Install section.
    • Select each item and select install.
    • After the content has installed, you should be able to access the DLC by selecting Downloadable Content in the in-game menu.
Give the suggested steps a try and be sure to let us know the results. Thanks!

    Mister Quimby,

This is not really the issue nor will it resolve the issue for those wanting to access and play the DLC on the 360.

The XBOX store should show that the Alan Wake game was purchased as well as the DLC. It doesn't. What happens if the game is deleted, hard drive replaced, or the console no longer functional? Redeeming the Alan Wake game and two DLCs do not reflect ownership
anywhere in the web store or via the 360...period.

Are you implying this promotion had the intent of playing a backwards compatible 360 game solely on the XB1?

What a fallacy if so, or better yet, lunacy.

THERE IS NO WAY TO PUSH A DOWNLOAD FROM THE XB1 TO THE 360. THE STORES (console and web) BOTH STILL SHOW PRICES AND REFLECT ZERO OWNERSHIP OF ALAN WAKE AND THE DLC.

How does this solution address those that want to play the 360 game and DLC on a 360?!?!

    * I was told to post in the XB1 forums over the 360 as this was a XB1 promotion. So PLEASE don't overlook the issue of redemption and play-ability on the 360. For ME, that is a MUCH larger issue.

  12. As Muthafodder said, the issue really is that the xbox platform reflects not ownership of game and dlc's, With the impossibility to download the content to the Xbox 360. The system is prompting to purchase the contents at full price.

Alan Wake, missing DLC after reedeming code from the Quantum Break box

The DLC is now listed as free in the web based store.

I had to purchase the DLC and game as FREE to reflect ownership.

You guys better close this up or find a better solution, as folks are likely to post on slickdeals VERY soon that the DLC is free.

I hope your servers are ready for the incoming slickdeal effect.
