Alan wake code won't redeem

Having the same issues others seem to be having. When i try to redeem my Alan wake code, I get the error message "Something went wrong. Give it another try. If this happens again, let us know by entering the code below....etc"

but then the only code is xbos-4000 then a bunch of other numbers and digits, doesn't look like an actual Error code. Please help!

I am also having this issue. I was routed here by the Xbox Chat Support team. They believe the issue is a backend problem with the codes not matching the content. No other information beyond that, or timeline to resolution.

 

happened to me when i was trying to redeem my DOOM beta code. try going to "my games and apps" you should find it there

 

Have you heard anything arsonisic? And staar I wish that was the issue but it won't even show that it's Alan wake when I enter the code. Just goes straight to error

Just tried code again to see if problem was fixed and error I get now says this code has already been used! So that's..... something!??

I have not heard anything, but I just tried my code and it worked. I have yet to check if there has been an official announcement, but based on my single data point... It works?

 

Hi Mister Beep I have sent a pm with the code already but have no reply to that however I have resent it to you. As stated the error I get has now changed from XBOS-4000 to saying the code has been used which it hasn't! Thank you!
