    Thanks for reaching out to us here on the forums with this inquiry. I understand you're having questions about charging batteries through the controller. Unfortunately the controller is only designed to only be able to charge the Charge & Play kits that
    are designed for use with the controller. It could possibly work but there is also a chance that you can cause damage to the batteries or the controller itself so Microsoft does not recommend trying to use the controller for unintended purposes. Hope this

    You cannot charge AA batteries in the controller using a USB cable. You will need a separate plug for the AA battery charger. Only & Play sets can be loaded using USB. Some 3rd parties have a USB port in the battery
    to do so.

    What is the separate plug of the charger for the AA battery? USB can only charge the set play @ charge, and some of these websites have a USB port in the battery to do so.

    Take this explain and where to get such a thing?
