Air Superiority Question

Is there anyway to go into this battle and not get destroyed?. I'm not the best at flying but trying to unlock some upgrades for the jets. The thing is everyone else it seems has the upgrades and it makes it an unfair advantage when playing this. Any tips
would help, thanks.

I would expect it to be similar to how they did it in BF3? all jet conquest, capture flags by flying around them

What is this game mode? I am seeing this on the menu on vids for the ps4. Do we have this game mode on the xbox 360?

 

You will get destroyed a lot. There is no way around this. The only thing you can do is try to poach kills. Jump into a skirmish between other people and when you see their flares launched or ECM go off, just wait to get the lock on back and fire away
for easy points.

To try and last longer, if someone gets a lock on you, pull a turn immediately. S patterns are your friend as well as most any other pattern that is not listing lazily to the left.

If you can't break the lock on, don't fire your flares until you hear the solid sound of the missile coming (hopefully they are not close to you when they fire).

That's pretty much the only tips I have.

 

Try the inverted 60 degree dive with a MiG and 6 feet, Maverick did it, I saw it on Top Gun.

 

yeah this is a hard assignment! I rage-quit allot on this one, I forgot what weapon it unlocks, I remember in the BF3 it was so easy to track your assignments for weapons un-locks, I cant find it in the game, I just have to youtube it an figure it out from
there, that's how I got my M-TAR,anyway I was going to practice on the firing range, My Invert seems wrong even though I have it on Normal??

 

^^I think it unlocks the M60, not sure. Dont invert your setups, I was making a pilot tactical reference.

 

I played three rounds yesterday an didn't get ONE ribbon even though I finished 2nd on one an top 3 on all, that was with the jets, Im really bad on the choppers, I have a harder time getting the chopper moving than I do on a regular conquest match for some
reason...

 

that assignment gets the engi class a drone, its a second assault assignment that gets the 60

 

the 60 is easy the drone is not, might have to take attack jet and bomb tanks for double kills, and im not good at that

 

All you need is the 20mm cannon forget the rest.
