    Hello! I was wondering, can there be a setting on Xbox to turn off controller acceleration? And also how come there's never been a setting?
    Many people would rather have their raw inputs determine on where they aim in games but with controller acceleration its always a build up to speed, I personally find this very annoying since when playing any call of duty game I can't aim well at all since
    I can't estimate how much force I need to put on the stick to aim at an enemy.
    (I really hope I'm making sense)
    Without controller acceleration I would be able to aim much better because look movement would be at a consistent set speed. My best bet for this not being an option is to reduce motion sickness, but it would be nice to have the option. This feature alone
    is ultimately why I switched to pc and why I'm going to struggle trying to get back into xbox.

    Why can't i disable auto-aim?

    Disabling the aim assist in a game as broken as Halo 5 would be a death sentence. You wouldnt be able to hit a thing. What with aim acceleration and all.

    Aim doesn't continue to accelerate when you move the thumbsticks to the edge, which is what the Op has issue with.

    No, Battlefield 2 MC, BC, BC2, Mirror's Edge, Perfect Dark Zero, Far Cry, Far Cry 2---those are games that suffer from atrocious aiming systems on consoles because they leave the Deadzone/Acceleration(the point where you start pressing the analog stick to
    where it moves onscreen) too wide. There's very little nuance or twitch, and once the acceleration starts it just goes. BF3 does it right. The acceleration feels precise on BF3

    Click Web Acceleration on the left menu. Click Control and tick
    Disable Web Acceleration. Now click Submit.
