I never said anything about the Dead Zones on the sticks, I just meant the actual aiming was a lot clumsier. And it's great you do fine with it off, I was just talking in general. And in general console games HAVE to have some sort of aim assist for it to
run well, that's all!

Especially for games that don't have a very short kill time like Battlefield and Call of Duty. Halo, Section 8, etc. (Basically any game with kill times longer than a half second) You have to have a lot more precision and that's where controllers fall short.

having only had an xbox for 6 months after years on a pc i thought aim assist was the way forward for me , after turning it off in BC2 i got more headshots , as if it was defaulting to the body when switched on? I had it switched off for the bf3 beta

Of course, now everyone will just say that it's there for COD players. lol. By the way.. The analog sticks are not "clumsy" like someone said.. A controller can kick the crap out of KB&M in the right hands.
