AHHH...Not Again!!!

I feel for ya. I sent mine in on the 27th of October. Got a email on the 4th of November with a fed ex tracking number. Still does not show in the system and fed ex says I wont see it till the 13th at the earliest. You tell me how does it take only 4 days
for me to send it to them fed ex ground, yet it takes them 9 or so days to send it ground?

Hey RNs! What specialty do you guys work? I'm a few months from getting my BSN and currently work as an ED Tech. Would love to work in the ED as a new grad but I think they want me to get some experience first since we're a level 1 trauma.

 

The Xbox One power brick has an internal fuse that will blow to help protect the system. Surge protectors have a much lower tolerance before they'll trip and are far better for protecting your system.

The internal fuse in the power brick can't be replaced (sealed unit) so even if the fuse threshold was set low enough any power surge would brick your brick. Always use a surge protector and make sure that's what it is and not a simple power strip.

 

I'm ED. Started as a paramedic. Fyerball my tracking number never worked when they sent the xbox back to me. It eventually just showed up. That was both times. Just more crappy customer service (though I'm sure that is a fed ex issue not a microsoft one).

 

Well, I know it has been over 4 days so who knows??? I just know someone messed up.

 

Minecraft should make a Microsoft texture pack. The Xbox One could be the bricks.

 

Fyerball it took a 7-9 days for mine to come back. They come back and they break again (or so it is in my case).

 

Just demand a new Xbox instead of having them repair it.

 

I did. It's a no go without a credit card. Last night tech support skirted the subject and blew smoke up my ***. Last time (second repair) I called tech support the guy ended up asking me to define options after I told him that they were giving me no options
for a crappy product. Basically, I wanted a new xbox last time and they wanted a credit card (which I don't have one, nor will I ever get one).

 

hm then idk. If that Xbox has been through numerous repairs already then it's just a hopeless system. Yeah need a new one.

 

When you send it back for repair does everything get sent back (power brick, cables) or just the console?

 

^^ Just the Xbox. Nothing else, unless the trouble is with another item i.e. kinect

 

^^ That's not good and may explain why people keep having the same One brick over and over. Just because the power supply appears to be working doesn't mean it's working correctly. I'd tell them I want a new one and even replace the cables just to be safe.

Does that mean your recommendation is to not use a surge protector? or are you suggesting a way to troubleshoot a possible issue with a power supply?
