Aggiornamento Minecraft Xbox One impossibile se non pagando [Edit - translation] - Minecraft ...

Ho acquistato una copia usata su disco del suddetto gioco. Una volta installato sulla console, dal menù del gioco mi propone un aggiornamento gratuito (scritto proprio "aggiorna gratuitamente"). Clicco sul pulsante e mi si apre lo store MS in cui però l'unica
opzione disponibile è l'acquisto (19,90). Come mai?

[Edit - Translation] - I purchased a used copy of the above game on disk.
Once installed on the console, from the menu of the game offers me a free update (written just "update for free").
I click on the button and I open the MS store in which, however, the only option available is the purchase (19.90).
Why?

I'm pretty sure Minecraft is just Minecraft. One game, Minecraft. There is also Minecraft story mode, that is a very different game, a telltale series.

Can anyone please list all the Minecraft games in release by date? We are away to buy a couple for our daughter for Xmas, but confused which ones are new or seasons etc

Includes Favourite Pack (7 DLC)

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. There was a cutoff date for the free upgrade for disc versions of minecraft. Unfortunately, that date was January 30th 2018. You can find more information on this here :

Q: How long will the Better Together Update be available as a free download to players who own the console version of the game?

A: Owners of the disc version of Minecraft: Xbox One Edition will have until January 30th 2018 to have played Minecraft for five or more hours in the past 12 months OR purchased a DLC Pack. There is no cutoff for digital Minecraft: Xbox One Edition owners.

Unfortunately no, as stated in the previous post, that offer has expired as of January 14, 2018.

At this point, you can only get the Better Together Update is by buying Minecraft online through our store.

The disc itself will not let you download that without purchasing the new version.
