    Ages of Empire 3 DLC


    For Christmas, I got the Ages of Empire III DLC via Xbox App on the computer. After installation, when I go to play it, it doesn't show up at all. It acknowledges I own it but won't install it. I go to Microsoft Store and made sure the app matches up with the Xbox app, then I try to install it from there but it takes me back to Xbox App which tells me its "ready to use in game" but when I go to play it, it doesn't show up as an DLC I can play.

    What's going on here????

    Thank you for your response. I did go to Ages of Empire and put in a ticket. No response yet, but it is the holidays so perhaps it'll be slower than usual.

    Have you read this article from our Age of Empires team about DLC in AOE3? It has some great tips to work through this very issue.

    I would recommend double checking that accounts line up and follow the items in the article that pertain to making sure the store account used for the purchase and the account in the game line up. If they are different, then that would be why you don't see the DLC. If that is the case, you can request a refund using the following steps.

    If the article itself doesn't help you out, feel free to reach out to the age of empires team directly on that same page, in the top right-hand side by selecting "Submit a Ticket".

    The world edge team is extremely helpful and should get you taken care of if needed. Hope this helps and happy gaming.

    Appreciate you letting us know of this potential update needed on the guidance for this issue. I have informed Worlds Edge about this and will see about what update or further troubleshooting steps need to be implemented.

    Have you opened a ticket with Worlds Edge yet? I am looking to engage additional resources from that team to help get this resolved and get you up and running with that DLC.

    I will need to troubleshoot this issue a bit further with that team and will reply back when we have further guidance.
