    Age won’t change on Xbox 1


    Hey so I’m 18 now and my dad changed the age of my account on my Microsoft account which is linked to my Xbox account, but there is a problem. When I try to do things a 18 year old account could do, it wouldn’t let me. I tried a lot of other things that
    only an 18 year old account could do but they didn’t work either. I think my xbox account takes some time to load to latest changes but it’s been about a week and nothing has changed, can anyone help me or tell me what’s going on?

    My x1 adapter is staying on mute and won’t unmute

    My Xbox 1 remote and adapter won’t work. The light for the mute button is always on and won’t turn off. So if anyone can help that would be great .

    Your parent account can update your account only when it reaches 18+ of age. The servers register the account age in the moment of the registration so eve if your change your profile data it will not change your child account to an adult account

    The age of your account is determined by what you entered when you created your account, not the age of your MIcrosoft account . There is no way to change the age on an Xbox account.

    It's not possible to change the age of an account once it's been created. So if you had accidentally set it for 1 years old, the age would still be 1 years old. Any dates that are changeable would only be for your Microsoft account, not the Xbox account.

    As stated above, you will need to contact EA for the age on your account. Some how my age was 1 1/2 years old and I am well over that. I had to have mine changed.

    That's for age verification for using a Microsoft account. Changing the age of a Microsoft account does not change the age of an Xbox account.
