sorry depending on your age EA actually have a age restriction on their games this includes BF3, this age restrictions is noone under the age 13 can play their games online

At the age of 13 it is perfectly allowed for your child to make their own account. However, under the age of 18 they would need parental consent to access Xbox Live. It is only age-restricted content you wouldn’t want them to access. If they set their birthdate
to the correct age then they would need parental consent. You can set up an age limit on the console, it is called Access to content. I recommend just keeping an eye on what your child plays on and by setting up the Access to content age limit, they wouldn’t
be allowed to purchase anything.

I'm in the same boat. My son is 13 and just got an Xbox One. I don't have a problem with playing some games, such as the one you let your son.

My issue is because of his age (we also didn't lie on his account about his age) he can't even add a "friend" - HIS OLDER BROTHERS without having a parent sign in. The problem is...HOW the heck does a parent sign in and allow this? MS has some of the
worse direction and instructions. This web site is a joke. I can't find squat. I just assume at this point change his age on his account if I can find out how to access it on line. I've spend over two hours trying to get this resolved....just to allow
him to add his 23 & 19 year old brother so they can play games together!

a few years back I bought the mini-series Band of Brothers on DVD at Hastings(my grandfather was in the 101st during WW2 and Korea), anyway as I was paying for it some slapnut saw what I had in my hand and told me what a great show it was and I agreed then
said I was gonna watch it with my kids, he suddenly gave me a dirty look and told me he'd rather let his children watch porn because "a man and woman making love is less destructive to their minds" ....what a degenerate

Old thread but still fun to point and laugh at bad parenting. God forbid a 10 year old sees a character in a game portraying smoking a "j" or telling a woman to go make a sammich but it's ok to hear vulgarities (including sexual innuendos) and not just see
graphic violence but participate in it when the child's mind isn't adapted to the difference between reality and video games. At such a young age those neurological connections are still being made and are largely based on their social orientation i.e. those
external social forces exerted on them.
