Age of Empires - Unable to access the game / unable to install the game

I am having issue with Age of Empire game. It was working fine and suddenly one day it stopped working. I can see the game in the start menu but I cannot see it in add or remove programs. Start menu -> Clicking it does not run as well.

I tried to reinstall the game through xbox app but it is not installing. You can see the error message in the second screenshot.

I tried to install via Microsoft Store but nothing is happening from there as well. I have restarted the laptop multiple times and able to install other apps via Microsoft store.

Please help

Thank you for the reply. I tried the same but forgot to update.

When I try to uninstall from Start, nothing happens.

This is how it appears in Microsoft store

If I try to install after selecting the drive, nothing happens.

Regarding other games, yes, I am able to install. Here is one I installed Minesweeper few minutes ago.

I am able to open the game as well.

Please try this:

Right click on the game (in the program list <like in your picture>), after that click on delete/uninstall.

Once deleted, please try installing again the game from the Xbox app. Let me know if the same error appears.

Also, to isolate a bit more your issue. Try installing a different game to see how it goes

If you press "uninstall" the game doesn't disappear from your list of installed apps?

Please try restarting your PC in case you already pressed the Uninstall button.

If not, please try creating a new local user and try installing the game from there to see how it goes:
