    Age Of Empires IV stopped launching


    AOE IV was working fine and now it just wont launch on PC game pass, just get an error window saying "we are updating gaming services" after I click close I get another message saying "this app wont open, check store" nothing has changed on my PC?

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

    Let's then uninstall and reinstall Gaming services by following the steps below:

    "1. In the Windows search bar, type Windows PowerShell

    2. In the menu, select "Run as administrator"

    3. In the Administrator: Windows PowerShell screen, type the following command and press Enter:

    get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers

    4. In the same window, type the following command and press Enter:

    start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN

    5. Click Install** to install Gaming Services (select Yes if you receive the User Account Control (UAC) prompt)

    6. Restart your device."

    Thanks I reinstalled it but the problem stays. I have windows 11 btw, if that is relevant.

    Hi there Harald welcome to the community forum! Christopher here, an Xbox fan just like you and has been on Xbox for years already. I would really love to make your day by helping you out. This might be an issue with the app! I suggest uninstalling the app completely! Everytime that it tried to give me a hard time I do this and it works wonders! Here are the steps!
