Age of Empires error code 100

I bought AoE 3 Complete Collection on Steam, as now there is a summer sale going on there, to play with my friend online.

To do that i need an ESO account but i can't create it due to the '[100] Bad CD key' error.

I searched for solutions, as it seems it's a reoccuring issue.

I refunded the game and bought it again, to have a new key, but it doesn't ask for it so probably still runs with the older one.

Nearly all of the support for the game is dead so noone can really help.

It'd be great if you could something about this.

Sorry to hear it. This does seem to be an issue with creating an account for ESO. However, what you would need to do is contact their support page for more assistance with this. http://www.agecommunity.com/support.aspx

Not 100% it is Halo Wars, it mentions Age of Empires aswell.

Halo War was class though, I'd be happy with part 2.

Usually the error 0x80073d0d is shown when you try to move system apps or files from one folder to another when they are not supposed to be moved. Receiving this error when installing a game may be caused by the user account not having enough privileges to install the game on the desired location.

Would you please check if the default games and apps installation folder for your

system is the same that you are using for the Xbox app?

- Go to Start (Windows Start) -> Settings -> System -> Storage -> Change where new content is saved (under 'More Storage Settings'). Change the setting "New Apps will install to:" to the drive you want to use.

If the installation path is the same on your system settings and on the Xbox app, please check inside the Xbox app the default folder for games installation. It is usually the WindowsApps or XboxGames folder. Go to the correct folder and change its permissions:

- Locate the XboxGames or WindowsApps folder. Right-click on it and select Properties.

- Go to the Security tab and select Advanced.

- Click on Continue in the Permissions tab.

- Select Change.

- Click Advanced in the Select User or Group window, then Find now.

- Select your user account and click on Ok.

- Click on Ok and Apply on every window and close them.

After making the changes, restart the computer and check if you still receive the same error message when trying to install Age of Empires or download your 4k videos.
