Age of Empires Definitive Edition

Since AOE definitive edition recently automatically reinstalled/updated a sync error comes while playing multiplayer game. It has happened several times around 1 hour into the game. This causes the game to drop out. It also occurred for other people in
the same game. Extremely frustrating. Has anyone else noticed this and what can I do to fix it?

Yep. Same problem using LAN. both times yesterday after 38 minutes! Game now unusable and a waste of time trying to play. What a shame...

I'm also having this same error code, except for the latest update to Age of Empires 2: Definitive Edition.

Steam never has these issues. This is ridiculous.

Tried restarting my computer, twice. No effect on the solution. Now trying uninstalling and re-installing.

I'm using the Xbox Game Pass.

Which one? Only ask as all 4 are available on GP in the UK

If I (from the UK) look at the UAE page for the Age of Empires Definitive Edition, for example, it says it is available on Game Pass:

That's what customer service made me do and didn't work. Tried it again today and nothing. I get the same error code now on Age Of Empires 2 Definitive Edition, besides Gears of War 5 and others
