age of empires 4 keeps crashing

hi, i bought age of empires 4 months back and it played well. i had to factory reset my pc and when i downloaded the game again it continously crashes. there is no way to uninstall it. it is not in control panel-apps and programs and when i go into c" drive and follow the path into C:\Program Files\WindowsApps. it says i do not have permission and when i go into security then users it says file is corrupt and to delete it, but there is no way to delete it also there was not an icon to start the game with, so i have to go into aof e 4 folder and start it from there but it will start i press play then it crashes to the desktop. every now and then it will start up and plat like now but it paused the game and says fatal scale error. game paused. i long for the dvd installs

hi josef, i did exactly as you said and no go. he's what i did do because i was so frustrated, reset pc- downloaded the c++ pack and installed it, then i d/l the game and it worked. then i proceeded to install one app at a time and checked on game, every single app. but anyway it is stable and working great. thank you for your support and patience. it worked great before so i had to give it a try and it worked thanks so much. thread is closed

since reinstalling it, i now see it in the start menu where it was not at before but not in installed appss in the control panel. the game is very unstable

What happens when you try to install the game using the Xbox PC app?
An error appears?
If yes, which one?

Also please tell me, is this happening only with age of empires? And are you using Windows 10 or 11?

i did the clean boot successfully but on the create a new local administrator user in your PC. i have 1 t tab for family and 1 tab for other users. on the family tab on my name it says that i am the admin and organizer and i cannot click on it, it is greyed out. there are no instructions for create a new local administrator user in your PC with the url you sent me so i can't create a new local admin account and i do not see a local asccount i can change to admin so i will try the game again, also when it is trying to auto save the game it crashes
