    I've recently obtained the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and wanted to try out the Age of Empires 4. Unfortunately I keep getting the error message with code 0x80070070 - about disk space. I have to selected default installation driver to non-system one, but it apparently doesn't work (I had same problem with Humankind). I have 30GB free space on the system driver and no way to make more there. I've been trying different types of workarounds to make the installation work, but nothing has helped: reinstalling Gaming Services and using command line wsreset for example. This game still wants to be installed on the system driver. Is there any way to make a windows funcionality actually work?

    The hard drive you are trying to install is formatted on NTFS? If you try the game through Microsoft can you select the hard drive you want to install the game on?

    Yes, the hard drive has NTFS file system. I can't select it during installation (it is always automated), but I can select it through the system settings.

    Follow these two steps, if one doesn't work, move on to the next.

    1. Press Windows Key + i and go to apps, search for ''gaming services'' click ''advanced options'' and then ''terminate, repair and reset. Try installing the game again.

    2. Launch PowerShell as an administrator and enter

    “get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers”

    Restart your PC, open PowerShell as admin again, and enter

    “start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN”

    The Microsoft Store will open and ask to install Gaming Services, install. Then try installing the game again.

    If the problem persists, an in-place upgrade can solve the problem. On this link, you have the necessary instructions.

    Hi,

    Since Age of Empires Online uses your Xbox LIVE Gamertag you cannot be signed into multiple places at once. If you want to play Age of Empires Online on your PC you will automatically be signed out on the Xbox 360.

    Your gamertag cannot be actively used in multiple places at once in regards to playing games.
