    Issues playing/accessing Age of Empires 4 through my Laptop on my Xbox Game Pass account when my internet is connected. The error states:

    Account Problem

    Your account is experiencing problems preventing you from joining matches or groups. This may be due to a technical error or your account may be restricted. Error code: C04T00R27X-01 4D504D610306

    This has been happening for the past week and I've been playing AOE for the past 6 months and haven't changed any settings. Now when trying to play AOE4 it will stay on the loading screen just after the main page with an endless loop of the loading circle on bottom left corner of screen. If I turn my internet off I can access the game and play without the multiplayer option online.

    Steps I've taken to resolve:
    1. Reinstalling the game -- this worked and allowed me to play multiplayer for a few days before the issue showed up again
    2. Turned off all firewall settings on my PC -- this didn't help

    3. Disconnected my wifi, accessed the game, then turned on Wifi -- this didn't let me play multiplayer online

    Why is this happening and what are the steps to resolve?

    Is this happening on Windows 10 or 11?

    Only with AOE IV are you experiencing this?

    And, did you tried connecting your PC to a different wifi network to see if the issue persists?

    In the meantime double check this:

    Go to "Settings" menu

    Select "Time and Language" option

    Go to "Date and Time" tab

    Set "Set Time Automatically" option to "ON" (Do the same with Time Zone)

    After that do this:

    Press Windows button and type Services

    On Services App from the list of results, press right-click and run it as administrator

    Scroll to the bottom and find the following services:

    IP Helper

    Xbox Live Auth Manager

    Xbox Live Game Save

    Xbox Live Networking Service

    Gaming Services

    And do this with each of the services listed above:

    Right-click over the service and select Properties.

    Find the Startup type section and make sure it’s set to Automatic (if not, change it to automatic)

    If the service isn’t started, click Start to start the services

    Restart your PC and give it a new try
