    Age of Empires 3 Definitive Edition (Windows Edition from Game pass) Crashes on game load


    I'm having problems with the game. I can load the game and get into the main menu, but during the loading for the campaign or skirmish etc. it crashes and closes. There are no error codes. My graphics drivers are up to date, running the most up to date version of windows. My Pc isn't the most powerful out there, but it can run Forza Horizon 4 at 4K quite happily, so it's not too shabby. I just can't get my head around why it's not working! Is there some glitch in the game? I've tried all Google-able solutions, including reinstalling it. I'm at a bit of a loss TBH.
