Age/ Game

I'm 32, and will stop playing when they pry my controller from my cold, dead hands. Seriously, I have no plans to stop gaming, though I know as I get way older some of my diminishing abilities may limit what I can play. Only issue these days is that,
working full-time, I now have the money to buy any games I want, but little time to play them.

I don't think older gamers damage gaming's reputation, any person who looks down on anybody's harmless enjoyment is the one with the issue. Plus, the $$$ from those of us who are working adults help support the industry.

Age doesn't factor into whether someone stops playing and enjoying video games. Life circumstances, health, jobs and how busy you get may stop someone playing as much as they used to but age in it self doesn't matter, if your a gamer then you can be one
for your whole life if you want to. It's the same as someone saying to you why do you still listen to that band or why do you still enjoy cartoons -_- who gives a crap about age.

While someone with a heart condition might be more prone to a heart attack while playing an exciting video game it's not caused by the game, it's the excitment. I bet your doctor told you not to have s.ex either right? Anything that elevates the at risk
heart is a threat. Don't give this guy anymore delusions about his point being right, age has nothing to do with it.

Dude, you should stop trying to justify this thread and admit you've started a train wreck.I mean you've even called someone an old plonker, this in itself answers your question from the beginning.

I seriously did not direct unibrow comment that at you. lol It was just a random thought I typed out. But now looking back its quite funny. I was just trying to break the tension of the discrimination that was popping up by the OP. For the record I
actually have a unibrow and a mullet. I comb my unibrow up to the top of my mullet so its a smooth flowing motion of hair from the front to the back. And even blends in with my back hair. Plus goes well with all my indian corn teeth. It gives that sexy
chewbacca appeal that the chicks dig.

The same could be applied to ANY HOBBY. Fixing cars, reading, swimming, watching TV, playing sports, hunting crocaducks, ect. Any hobby done in excess by a huge portion of the population could be damaging. The problem with your scenario is that the majority
would have to behave like addicts. Gaming will not cause that. It's been around since the 70s and society hasn't fall down around us yet. I don't know what your problem is but you're annoying with this ridiculous line of thought. I doubt you'd find many sane
people who agree with you.

Btw you most certainly can discriminate against old people. That's why in the US they have specific laws that prevent discrimination in the workplace against old people, it used to happen all the time. Duh.
