It's not Guaranteeing you at 17, that you can watch Mature Content & who is actually mature at 17 anyway.. You have to be 21 to even drink in the US..

If you signed up to Xbox Live & your age is 17, your Family Filter Settings are active too..

What is the actual age of the account? Settings are not an issue.

If your account birth-date makes the profile age 17 or younger. You will not be allowed to ,download M or NR material.

The age of the account supersedes any family setting.

If only when the account turns 18 there will be no restrictions on content that can be downloaded.
