    Again with the issues!!


    OK here is my original issue

    "I'm not sure if this is the right area to write this but after 40 minutes of attempting to find the area I don't really care.

    Ok for 6 months now I have had the terribly confusing and annoying situation of freeing up certain emails just so I can change my gamertags email.

    This is for security reasons as well as being able to connect my surface and my most frequently used email to my xbox live (hence wanting everything under the one email).

    After much pain and suffering I finally am able to change my email for my gamertag to the desired email however it says that all of my money that is tied to my account will not transer over to the new account. I know it says this but does this actually
    happen? I just put $50+ on my account in anticipation for games but even if I only had a few dollars on their I would feel pretty ripped if I just wasted all this money. Also would that mean that every single purchase tied to my original account won't transfer
    either?


    I seem to be running into all sorts of issues and I just want a simple changed email without losing anything. It's surprising how easy that sounds yet how impossible it is to actually do. Oh and I can't be bothered ringing, ringing doesn't help in the slightest
    no matter how many phonecalls I make. It would make my life so much easier if someone could just flip a switch so it would just work. Sorry if I seem frustrated but after half a year you get that

    I was then told I had to use up that money to avoid losing it which was fair enough I suppose.

    Now!! I went onto my xbox one it signed me and my cousin on even though he wasn't present, so I was going through
    MY account to add on money to buy something so I can leave my account at $0 then change my email. But for some bloody reason it has put the money into my cousins profile. Please to god tell me
    I didn't just spend another $25 for no bloody reason. I want that $25 transferred to the account I was putting it on immediately because I have been royally F***ed up the wall constantly for a real long time now. I expect an immediate fix, just a flick of
    a switch done and dusted and no more *** around of money and waiting 30 day waits just to get a simple email changed!!!!! I can't stress how much of a pain this is and I have just spent 5 straight hours trying ring and search for the right forum to post on
    but I can't even find that. Help is what I need, I hope I don't get told "sorry you just wasted more money to try and fix your problem"

    Kinect issues...again.

    Hi there,

    can you check this link, to see if it is the problem you are experiencing if so, then please try the steps that are mentioned as a possible solution:

    support.xbox.com/.../kinect-sensor-not-recognized-by-console


    If they don't work, you will need to request a repair for your Kinect sensor like mentioned on the link via
    http://myservice.xbox.com. Depending on the country you are in you can still request repairs

    Thank you so much taidara, the post where you said reserve the ip address on the router did the trick, I have only just got back to be able to test it reason for long delay in post and it worked a charm.

    This is why this community is far better than the PSN, thanks to you guys.

    I've been on the phone for 3 hours and 34 minutes now and still no proper support or fix.

    This is my money and I want this sorted.

    This was caused by the product glitching on me so it's not even my mistake.

    Can someone just fix this for me, no more waiting. I'm done waiting hours, days, weeks and months. I wanted an email changed.. An email.. It's not like I'm changing banks, even that would be quicker. Just. Fix. The. Problem.

    Hello, Sorry for long delay in reply been really busy and away for work.

    I have found out the problem, i have been taking my xbox from my barracks to my girl friends house and every time i come back my IP address on the console changes so all the ports i have opened are all with the old IP.

    So is there away to make my console keep the same IP?

    Try performing a hard reset EXACT like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart the
    console.

    It could be a problem with the controller too. Try using a different one if the hard reset doesn't work
    Didn't work, of course. I can't believe this is an issue.
