    The new Series X & S have completely missed the ball. They don't bring anything new. It's just same old but faster and prettier. That's it. Pretty pathetic. There weren't even ANY games specifically for the new machines. That's not a console launch, that's a case of we don't want to be later then the other one. Who similarly doesn't innovate, but only ammeliorates. Give people something that changes gaming. And the best way to do that is by giving a different way of interaction or a different way of experiencing.

    Now that was obviously a hurdle too high to jump, but Xbox didn't even provide a stop gap feature. Nothing. The most obvious thing gamers want is having mouse or trackball input for shooters and tactical games. Hell, even hidden object and point & click. Take a good look at the market today: do a search on mouse & keyboard adapters for consoles. It's riddled with manufacturers. And only 2 to 3 of them get it right: by incorporating an analog wand instead of a clumsy keyboard. An analog wand is THE way to go for console gaming on the couch (which 98% of gamers do). A keyboard has no place there.

    So what are you waiting for Microsoft? Start making a mouse and analog wand combo. And put some extra buttons on the wand. If you need an example : Tuact's Venom X is the starting point from which to improve upon. Seriously, what were you thinking creating a new console that has nothing new?

    has an on-screen cursor compatible with the controller.
