    Best over-ear headset?

    Afterglow AG9, completely wireless, $100 in the US or £60 in the UK.

    They don't have some options the more expensive ones do but value for money, sound quality is excellent and they do an amazing job.

    Those will not work even with the chat adapter as they are not compatible with the Xbox One. I know this to be true because I was in the same situation when I got my X1 last November. I had to wait until they released the newer Xbox One headsets and buy
    a new one.

    Microsoft really screwed up, Again

    Considering that the only headsets that they had slated to release with the X1 are wired headsets, then this is not really a big deal for me because on the off chance that the adapter that they are supposedly making will not work with the Afterglow wireless
    universal headset that I have, I will wait until they come out with some that are wireless because I refuse to have to have wires running across my floor. The 80s and 90s are long gone wireless is the way to go.

    Xbox one and 360 turtle beach headsets. Compatable.

    It is because the input connector that connects to the controller for chat is different cable than the one for the current gen headsets. I have pretty much a brand new set of Afterglow wireless universal headset that I use on my 360 and PS3 now but I did
    order a set of the Turtle Beaches for my Xbox One.
