    Afterglow Prismatic Headset Configuration


    I got my Afterglow Prismatic headset semi-working today. I bought the chat headset adapter and updated the controller. I got game sound working, but I can't hear anyone on the chat side. I unchecked the chat option in the kinect settings too. I feel like
    I have done everything correctly, but I can't hear anyone. I have no way to know if they can hear me.

    1. USB dongle is in correctly and lighting up

    2. Chat headset adapter pluggged in and working

    3. All buttons are functioning

    4. I have game sound but cannot hear chat (OPEN NAT)

    5. When I talk I can see mic icon moving

    6. 3.5mm line from USB dongle is plugged into headset output on TV

    I would love some help with this.

    Afterglow prismatic

    Hello.

    I am currently encountering some issues to use the afterglow controller ...

    I have sucessfully installed and used it once in a computer under windows 7.

    But in another under windows 8 I failed...

    Because the controller wasn't detected by the computer installed the peripheral manualy, and updated them.

    Now the controller "glow".... but that's all it does ! did i miss something ?

    Afterglow Prismatic Headset Configuration

    With afterglow,

    You have to adjust the chat volume on the headset and the Xbox adapter, and in the sound mixer and chat settings.

    What I mean is depending on how your settings were prior to plugging them in, you may need to play with each but if the sqawker is flashing and you have the Xbox compatible wire then it's just settings.

    If it's not an Xbox compatible wire(where you use the little black cord adapter to allow the Xbox 360 sized plug to be converted to xbox one size) then the cord could be the problem.

    Just make sure you're using the headphones to hear sound wirelessly.

    The cable is only to allow you to chat.

    Comment back if that doesn't make sense

    I have the afterglow headset when I try to plug my headphones up to chat I hear no sound I can hear myself but my friends can hear my sound
