Afterglow LV1 Headset not detected (but working on other devices)

Good night, i've been trying to get all day on the support chat and i could never get a turn, my issue is this:

I had a lv1 afterglow Headset (the one with just one earcup and a mic, reproduced only voicechat audio) that i used to play online, worked fine and then i replaced with a turtle beach one (both game audio and chat). Both connected via 3.5mm jack

The second ones broke after time, so i want to use my past afterglow Headset meanwhile i get another headset, the thing is the headset doesn't get detected anymore.

Then i tested the headset on a phone, works just fine, both mic and audio.

I tryied: controller actualization, not needed, fully unpluging both console and headset, then powering on back again then plug the headset, not working.

Obvious ones: not muted, fully plugged several times, powering off controller.

It seems to me that doesn't want me to connect cheap headphones anymore...

Any ideas? Please?

X-box One Controller NOT UPDATING

I have tried to update my controller to use my new Afterglow Headset. The problem is that my xbox is not detecting my controller.

I have plugged it in without batteries and my controller will power on, with the microphone hooked up, I still get the message that there is NO CONTROLLER USB DETECTED.

Im going to try a new mini USB... the one provided im assuming is not working correctly.

any other suggestions would be appreciated.

Others can't hear me? How can I fix this?

So recently, I purchased an Afterglow LVL Adapter due to the fact that my microphone was not working meaning that others couldn't hear me. I am using an Afterglow LVL 3 Headset, and I decided that maybe I needed an upgrade, so I got a Turtle Beach Recon
headset cause I thought maybe the mic would work even with my adapter, but id didn't. Now I am wondering if t is the headset or the controller. Could anyone help me on this? Thank you.

I bought them from Microsoft. It worked on the initial testing and has not worked since. I also bought a pair of Xbox One Afterglow LVL 1 Black Wired Chat gaming Headset, which also does not work.

Please note both headsets work fine on every other device.

The Afterglow AG7 headset is manufactured by PDP, a third-party company. Microsoft has no part in manufacture of the headset, other than "officially licensing" it.

You will need to browse through PDP support (Afterglow AG7 support page) to troubleshoot your headset problems.

Hello there,

Thank you for posting on Xbox Forums. Just to clarify, have you tried to update the controller, or connect the controller to the Xbox One with a USB cable? When you connect the headset to the new controller does the controller detect the headset and
there just isn't any sound coming out of the headset? or does the controller not detect the headset at all for either controller? Does the headset work on other devices?

I think only supported bluetooth dongles that are pre paired to a headset might work. sort of like the PDP afterglow AG 9+ headset.
