After Xbox went down it glitched out my game permanently.

The game is NBA 2K20 and the MyCareer story mode save file is just gone. The MyTeam is working fine all my saved stuff on there is still there, I can play online but when I go to MyCareer it won't even let me create a new save file. I literally can't start
the game. All I can do it create a My Player Build and edit or test it. I made one and played through the whole test game and all it did was let me go back to the main menu. I feel dumb like I can't start a game but I've never made a new character before and
I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

I messaged 2K they said they would be happy to retrieve my old save file but they need me to make a new saved game as a place holder. Which... I can't do for some reason. It's weird the button prompts at the bottom that says A Accept/ B Dismiss / X Delete
only show up on the player builder but not the Start a New File. I pressed literally all the buttons. 2K said they have no idea how this is even possible, they said I'm not banned or anything. And Xbox Support couldn't help me at all cause their system was
down all day and it won't let me contact web chat. What should I do? I checked my gold membership, it's active and paid for. My internet is fine, all the other games work. Maybe it's something wrong with 2K not reading my profile? Cloud saved data. Or I dunno.
I put a ridiculous amount of time and... even some money into this save file. If you play 2K you know losing a MyCareer is the most nightmarish situation ever.

exactly smh the only reason i report ppl now is because they report me after cursing me out using in game text, then i finally reply on xbox message out of frustration because I'm human, and then I get suspended because i used a curse word too? i don't know what kind of glitch this is but after doing research, going down the rabbit hole.. its been going since the year started smh nice start to the new year xbox, permanently banning your subs.

Wasnt a disaster ? the game was riddled with bugs and glitches and the company went out of business a month after it was release.That alone is a testament to how well the game is.

I agree with you on that point, my rep went down because I beat someone on WWE 13 even although they were using the glitched move set they marked me down as "unsporting" and my rep went down a bit. They do need some kind of new system so that it's not easy
for people to trash your gaming reputation just because some people out there are sore losers.

I had this issue as well but after relogging my game that "glitch" had went away.
