After updating Gaming services, Skyrim files disappear but still listed on start menu

Hello,

Could you go to the search bar or option on your PC, and search Control Panel.

Under Programs can you choose Uninstall a Program.

Can you confirm whether or not Skyrim appears on that list and if so can you choose Uninstall/Change?

If you downloaded it from the Xbox App can you also check C:/Program Files/WindowsApps (It is a hidden folder) and see if the program appears there as well?

If you are not downloading it from the Xbox App could you provide more details on how you are downloading the game? Are you using a different launcher? Are you downloading it from a website?

The first command worked?
But still the same after you reinstalled gaming services via Xbox app?

Try this:

Press Windows button and type Services

On Services App from the list of results, press right-click and run it as administrator

Scroll to the bottom and find the following services:

IP Helper
Xbox Live Auth Manager
Xbox Live Game Save
Xbox Live Networking Service
Gaming Services

And do this with each of the services listed above:

Right-click over the service and select Properties.
Find the Startup type section and make sure it’s set to Automatic (if not, change it to automatic)
If the service isn’t started, click Start to start the services

Finally do this:

Open the Settings app (the gear in the start menu)
Open Accounts
Click Sign-in Options
Scroll down to Privacy
Uncheck "Use my sign-in info to automatically finish setting up my device and reopen my apps after an update and restart."

Restart your device and try again

I fixed mine last night. I hit the x to cancel the install. It then disappeared from my game list. Found it, clicked it to start install and it was like a 600mb update a little wait but was fine after that

I suggest going to the Skyrim web site and download the pdf file with the list of recognized commands to start.

Also, after you see the last save on your list, press down again. I've noticed that the oldest save has a tendency to disappear off the list, but still be accessible. Other than that, your save files might have somehow been corrupted and lost. That's
a bummer.
