After update I can't sign in

I'm sorry you are experiencing this with your Xbox One console.

Based on your description, your console update might have been unsuccessful which affected your console's OS.

I can't even sign into xbox live on hughes net...When I turn my console on, it says that an update is required to sign in to xbox live, but it's currently unavailable...I installed the update via flash drive after downloading it on my computer, so I know
that the update stuck, but I can't sign in to xbox live at all...I can download updates and everything else, just can't sign in...so GAY!!!!

After the "signing in" page. Open the network after "launching game" appears, or open the network after entering the game. But it seems that it was updated yesterday. I can't sync the data now.

I was able to fix this by doing the following.

- Use the Media Creation Tool too perform and In Place Upgrade of Windows 10.

- Once complete my Xbox app still would not login because the Xbox services were not enabled. I did this to fix that issue.

Open the start menu, search for “services” and run it. (The app has a gear logo) Look for “Xbox Live Auth Manager,” “Xbox Live Game Save,” and “Xbox Live Networking Service.” If you notice one with a “Startup Type” set to “Disabled” you’ll need to change
it to “Automatic” 1. Right-click on the item and select “Properties.” (You’ll see a popup window with more information) 2. Change “Startup type” to “Automatic” 3. Hit “OK”

- Again the Xbox app did not login because an app was still missing. The app that was missing after the repair was %userprofile%\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.XboxIdentityProvider_cw5n1h2txyewy The Xbox Identity Provider app. To reinstall this I ran the
command below that just reinstalls all Windows 10 default/stock apps.

Get-AppXPackage | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"

I'm not exactly sure what happened or why the issues occurred. My only guess is at some point during a big update for Windows 10 a corruption was introduced and didn't manifest until the big Xbox app update. I had zero help from Xbox and Windows 10 support
via the Microsoft support channels. I hope this helps you though since I know how much frustration this type of issue is with no help or acknowledgement of the issue from Microsoft.

Exact same problem!

Same "40A3-416B-1380-267F-C000-0185" error code with "can't process the update" message after attempting April 1 2014 update on 360S. When I try a USB flash drive (FAT32 formatted with update in root) getting "40A3-416B-1600-267F-C000-0185" with "can't process
the update".

I also can't format internal 4GB memory, showing unformatted and will not format no matter how many times I try. Memory was working fine before update attempt.

I also can not connect to Xbox Live, never had an issue signing before the update attempt.

Maybe the update can't be processed without being signed into Xbox live, but I can't sign into Xbox Live without the update ?

Out of warranty too...
