After update can't connect to Live

I just finished downloading an update a few minutes ago. Everything was normal until it restarted and brought me to the dashboard. It said I wasn't connected to live. I tried connecting and it wouldn't. I restarted my xbox and when it turned back on it
was at the applying update stage of the update. It finished and still wouldn't connect. I performed a hard reset. Same thing again. On restart was applying update. I will test connection and it says I'm connected to the internet, but will not connect to internet
or live.

12/12/2013 update wont allow me to connect to xbox live

After the update i can't connect to Xbox live. gives me error 80151909 even though the connection test was successful.

same here, my lounge xbox can't download the update because it can't connect to live. my bedroom xbox downloaded the update after trying to connect to live a few times. my bedroom xbox, though, can't connect to live now either and it's been updated, whats
with that? we've been tryna clock gears3 on insane over live, but now we're just gonna watch movies from the rental shop. stink.

 

Remove your profile from the console Using the steps here:

Then sign back in and see if your able to use Xbox Live Gold features.

factory reset while keeping your games and apps by doing the following:

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select All Settings.
4. Select System.
5. Select Console info & updates.
6. Select Reset console.
