After trying Everything STILL CANT CONNECT TO XBOX LIVE!!!

Ive had my Xbox for almost 3 years with no problems connecting to my wireless internet connection. Recently, I went on vacation and brought my Xbox with me to the hotel. I connected my Xbox to the hotel wifi with no problem. However once I returned home
I could not get my Xbox to connect back to the network. I've tried every suggestion online and have yet to find a solution! Please help!

When I run the network test this is the Error Status Report:

ok so I got a new router from twc yesterday, hooked it up and everythings fine, ive got an xbox 360 in the living room that's working great but my sons xbox 1 down in the basement cant connect to xbox live, I done the test connection down there and it said it was connected but he still cant get on xbox live, everything is hooked up just like before

im trying to play xbox live and everything is working my xbox knows there is a chord but it says it cant connect to the internet i bought a new ethernet chord and everything but it still dont work

 

Did you reset the network settings? go to configure and then go to the right and click reset to factory settings. Then restart your console and try it again. That usually works for me if I can't connect. Another thing you can try is to clear the system cache
3 times and then press LB + RB + X + LB + RB + X and it will redownload your system update. That also works for me if restoring the network settings doesn't help. Let me know if this works for you.

 

BackedBoot1397, Your error report says that Your Xbox can't get IP address and other network related setting from Your router/modem.

So to fix this, first, restart Your router/modem, on Xbox 360 restore Your network setting to default, to do this, use this steps:

1.Press the Guide button on your controller, select Settings, and select System Settings.

2.Select Network Settings.

3.Select Wired Network or the name of your wireless network when the network list is displayed.

4.Select Configure Network.

5.On the Additional Settings tab, select Restore to Factory Defaults. When prompted, select Yes, Restore to Factory Defaults.

And just in case, clear Your system cache, to do this, use this article:

After all this steps restart Your console and enter password for Your Wireless network again.
