Hello everyone ... well, I've been following the topic for 5 months which was the time I suffered with this terrible problem !!!! .... finally ended up sending my console to support and yesterday after nine days received a brand-new , manufactured in 05/05
2015 and so far this great , another joagar experience without random disconnections , strongly recommend that if under warranty ask for a replacement and not repair

I am having the disconnect issue as well. I got this console for Christmas 2014 and haven't been able to enjoy it fully. They have sent me several "replacement" or "fixed" systems, but they have all had some sort of issue. I am tired of talking to tech support
at this point. Next time they ask me to send in my xb1 for repair I'm going to *** in a box and send it their way.

    Gstacks510,

I did just that and upon installing the new Wifi Board I noticed the wifi Antenna Cable connector end that connects to the board was badly damaged. These cables have a tiny micro ceramic core which is critical for that antenna to operate correctly.

I am now awaiting for a new board + antenna cable to do this again.

My result thus far are the same... No fix... I will report back once I get the newer board + the new antenna cable.

If this does not work then we are left with the possibility of the issue being deeper rooted perhaps another comm component - which would make it harder to identify by guessing.

My last alternative is buying a new unit, particularly the new 1T unit... Has anyone on here confirmed if that new unit with that new controller works or the same thing?

    Thanks in advance.

Any clue if when the Xbox one wireless PC adapter comes out, could we use this adapter onto the same xbox and replace the internal receptor by the adapter, making it an external wireless controller receptor?

Some people like me cant send the console for replacement for several reasons so we just have to live with it, in my case, I tried everything and the only way to play is struggling for an stable connection facing directly to the Xbox, and this is still not
    very reliable.

I was also looking into the possibility of using the Cronusmax dongle to use a PS4 controller with the Xbox one, hope MS does not delete my post because of what Im saying.

  8. Wow......have Microsoft STILL not fixed this issue......people don't send console in for repair you'll just get somebody else's broken one sent back to you. You need to get a REPLACEMENT NEW CONSOLE if you can. Here in Australia I swapped it out at my place
of purchase which was JB HiFi, they were more than happy to swap it when I informed them that my controllers dropping out meant I was going to throw my xbox that I bought back at them. Seriously tho they were really good, walked in with xbox + receipt and
swapped it on the spot, new one going strong since December '14. Australia good with warranty laws tho, other countries I know are not so fortunate. Microsoft sucks.

  9. Hello all,

I have been following this thread for months!

I have had the controller disconnect reconnect issue since owning my day one console. I have had 4 advance replacements, 1 repair requesting the wifi board be replaced. None of those options have worked. The repair ended up being the worst option because
my console arrived scratched to hell all over. Also the bluray drive died on it on top of still having the disconnect issue.

So I recently purchased the new 3.5 stereo headset Jack controlled covert forces edition to see if I would still get disconnects and after playing gears of war beta it had a disconnect reconnect at the menu screen, not even in play!

So I purchased the new 1tb console and have been playing disconnect free!!!

I just sent the other console into repair for the wifi board again, I'll keep sending it back until it's fixed.

So guys, either buy the new console or get it repaired and pray the repair works..

It's a bit of a shame DarthBishop79 that you had to buy a new console to solve the problem. Microsoft should refund you the money you paid as its their fault a lot of us seem to have this faulty product in our homes, yet they make more money because people
are inevitably forced into buying a new console. I don't think I'll buy another Microsoft console until at least a few years after release as I've had problems with this and the 360 in the past. It's just not good enough.

Same problem with both of my controllers. They started disconnecting right after the update. No difference with battery pack/normal batteries. I guess I will have to keep my charger cable plugged in until MS patches this problem :(
