After the last update, I always need to reset the video game.

This is happening to me on random sites that I always used. Cleaning cache, etc even a full factory reset did not work. It’s obviously a bad update! They made some videos not play last time in full screen. Now can’t even go on sites. Fix it

Update your console

It's that simple

You need the update after q factory reset since you are trying to access your games

It doesn't require you to be online all the time just because you factory reset

If you have your console assigned as home then there is no issue

It's just getting your licenses and account info from the web amyways

A factory reset would've erased your games so you would've still needed to redownload them anyways

Why don't you use the offline update tool

Only disks games would.operate offline without an update and some games require updates from the web amyways

Even then you still need the day 1 update anyways

You could always call support and work with them about the update issue

Has it always done this or just since the latest update?

It has done this since I got it (Used) I bought it in September of last year but it didn't get brought out till xmas. (So I don't know when last update was but it sat offline from Sep till xmas) I did a factor reset as well which I don't know if that
knocks it back to the original OS etc but right after the factor reset it was doing it as well.

No amount of reinstalling, resetting or rebooting has solved the issue for me. I heard about shutting off some particular video settings, but that shouldn’t need to be the case.

Only solution seems to be to wait for a fix for this bug introduced with the last Xbox update.

I'm not going to make a hard reset because of the other games. Usually everything has always appeared after the first update.
