    after shutting down my new One X my pad stays turned on and inactive


    Hello Everyone,

    Yesterday I bought my new One X. I made a starting configuration, copied some settings from my previous One S and started enjoying the game. But when I try to shut down the console it turns off normally, however my pad is still on (white led light is continuously
    on) and becomes inactive. When I want to turn on One X again I need to take the batteries off the pad, put them back and then turn on normally.

    Do you have any idea what could be the issue?

    Xbox restarts instead of shut down

    Hello,

    from a week or two, my Xbox One S restarts instead of shut down.

    This happens when i try to turn off console with

    - Controller

    - Shut down from the menu

    - X button in front of the console

    - after 6 hours of inactivity

    ...And after this restart i can shut down the console with any of the above methods that i know.

    Any suggestions?

    Why does my Power Brick stay on?

    I have a question. everytime i turn off my xbox one my power brick still stays power'ed on, now does it shut off by itself after 5 mins of inactivity like the wireless controller or? i always end up unplugging the power brick after i turn of my xbox but i feel like that bad for it....can anyone can help me?

    Hello, try to resync your controller and make sure your controller is updated.

    Thank you for coming to the forums today! I'd be happy to try and help.

    So it seems that your controller is still staying on, but inactive when you turn off your console. Let's try clearing the cache and resetting the internal power supply by performing a complete

    power cycle    .

    1. Turn off the Xbox One console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.
    2. Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 5 minutes.
    3. Plug the console power cable back in.
    4. Press the Xbox button on your console to turn on the Xbox One.

    Try that out and let us know if the problem continues!

    Trouble downloading halo

    it could be possible that your xbox is turning off after inactivity. you can set this to never turn off, turn off after 1 hour, or turn off after 6 hours of inactivity. If you downloaded 59% and your xbox shuts down because you have the 1 or 6 hour setting
    selected, maybe its reverting back to 31% as a safeguard to make sure your copy of the game isn't corrupted.. not sure if I explained my point and this is just my speculation.

    Xbox 360 Fan ON after console shut down.

    The only time my fans on my 360 stayed on after console shut down was when I used a play and charge kit.

    -

    Not just the fans but the light on the front of my power brick was still green and not amber.

    -

    I would have to disconnect the cord from the back of the controller to get the fans off and then reconnect it.

    -

    It was like the console it self was shut down but it was still generating power to charge the battery pack.

    -

    Ever since I changed to a wired control pad the problem stopped.
