2 Months of Gold for $2...or not

I had the same problem. While I my web-based account listed me as a Gold member, the Xbox still showed me as Xbox LIVE Free. I signed in and out, rebooted the console. Nothing worked. Then, as suggested here, I performed a test of the network connection
(Xbox Dashboard / My Xbox / System Settings/ Network Settings / <choose network> / Test Xbox LIVE Connection) and after the successful test, wala, my membership status was Gold. Thanks for the solution, Mister Gwyther!

    Hello!!!!

According to you comment if your network works correctly, go through the link to check that you do not have any behavior problem for what it could be:

    https://enforcement.xbox.com/

I also leave this link so you can follow the steps it asks for and you can solve the problem.

If you give an error number you should provide it to offer a better service

    Singing into old accounts

    Hello Ben!

Sign in issues can be found here:

    • Sign-in issues: The console can connect to Xbox Live, but you need help signing in to your account. If you can’t remember your Microsoft account email address, go to the Lost
      Account Solution
for help. If you need to reset your sign-in password, go to the Lost Password Solution for help.

If you are having network issues, start here:

    Test your network connection

If your Xbox 360 console is unable to connect to Xbox Live, the first step is to run the network connection test on your console. If this test is successful, your console will connect to Xbox Live. If the connection test is not successful, you’ll see an
error message, which should help to identify the specific issue that’s preventing your console from connecting.

To run the network connection test, follow these steps:

    1. Press the Guide button on your controller.
    2. Select Settings, System Settings, and then Network Settings.
    3. Select the name of your Wireless Network, or select Wired Network for a wired connection.
    4. Select Test Xbox Live Connection.
Note If your Xbox 360 console is unable to detect your wireless network, it won’t be able to run the network connection test. If this is the case, go to the Xbox
    360 Wireless Network Connection Solution
    to troubleshoot this issue.

If the connection test is successful, your console will connect to Xbox Live. If the connection test generates an error message, select NO: I GOT AN ERROR MESSAGE below to go to the Xbox 360 Connection Error Solution, and then select the
appropriate error type to troubleshoot that specific connection issue.

I have a Xbox 360 and cannot access my Purchase History on the Console. I get a Can't connect to website constantly. How can I get this issue resolved

    Hi Byron *.

My name is Mauro and am glad to assist you. We are sorry to hear this.

    Please do a connection test:

If your Xbox 360 console is unable to connect to Xbox Live, the first step is to run the network connection test on your console. If this test is successful, your console will connect to Xbox Live. If the connection test is not successful, you’ll see an error message, which should help to identify the specific issue that’s preventing your console from connecting.

To run the network connection test, follow these steps:
    1. Press the Guide  button on your controller.
    2. Select Settings > System Settings, and then Network Settings.
    3. Select the name of your Wireless Network, or select Wired Network for a wired connection.
    4. Select Test Xbox Live Connection.

In the link below you will see those steps and some capture on how it might show:

    I can't log in anymore

OK, that's some progress at least. Even if incremental.

Just to be clear: are we talking about an Xbox One or an Xbox 360?

    ~

When you've loaded up the app, are you able to sign in then? (After it signs you out.)

Are there any Live features you can access? Do you get any error codes.

Could you also run a Network Connection Test please, and let me know the results?
These are steps to do so.
