    After Nov 2020 update my Xbox 1 X external hard drive isn't recognized.


    As an ambassador and have addressed this issue to other people, I would like to think I have done everything before writing this post. I have tried all the "standard" things, soft power down, hard power down, changing ports, checking hard drive on my pc,
    and even did a soft factory reset.

    I am not sure what to do here as this is a 5 TB seagate drive and has TONS of Saved games that are not easily found anymore. I get that I can go download (MOST of them) but the 1 TB internal drive on my XB1X isn't sufficient. A Few month ago this happened
    to my daughters xbox 1 and it took another update for it to work.

    My question is that is there an awareness that this is happening to other community members, is there a known fix or work around other that what I have already tried? My XB1X doesn't seem to be experiencing any other known issues, and again the external
    hard drive is in good working order. It quit working after the update this month.

    I've just finished downloading/installing the newest system update for xbox one. The xbox now no longer recognizes my external hard drive. I have tried numerous times restarting the system, as well as unplugging/replugging in the external hard drive.
