    After new update all internet browsers shut down after a minute


    After this new update for the Xbox one a few days ago, the internet browser closes completely after 1 minute. I have tried in Microsoft Edge and the separate internet browser app. The same thing happens, after 1 minute the Xbox kills the app. It doesn't
    kill netflix or amazon prime video, but it kills the internet browser every time. Microsoft is trying to market the Xbox One as an entertainment and media device, why would they shut down the internet browser for no reason. Please advise.

    Microsoft Edge Crashing after few minutes of use

    So i normally go on Microsoft edge for watching films and generic browsing, and after a few minutes of using it it will shut down. this all happened after the update

    The power cuts out after a few minutes after shut down. It always has been like that. You can charge it somewhat after shut down, but if it's drained then there is no way it will recharge in just a couple of minutes. You can play with it plugged in, that
    way it will recharge as you use it.

    If the console is shut down and the power light "pulsates", the console is doing some background "cleaning up". For example uploading savegames to the cloud, or finishing a system update.

    Just recently, the May Update was released to the general public, and it might be, if your console is in power saving mode instead of Instant On mode, that the console is busy applying the update during shutting down.

    Let the console run for at least 30 Minutes (depending on your Internet speed), and check if the console is still running after that time.

    Thanks i will try waiting for 5 minutes as i was only waiting for 1 minute before.

    I seem to have to wait for about 20 seconds with my finger on the power as it firstly shuts down after a second, then starts after a couple more seconds, then finally shuts down after 20 seconds!!!??
