    Yeah m8 I plugged it in with the USB says there is no update for controller or the headset adaptor

    out of ideas again sorry, only other option is if you know someone else who has an xbox one try it on their (take your controller and see if it works on your controller on their xbox), otherwise I am out sorry.

    Gave the headset to a mate to try and he left it at work!!

    Don't ask me why but I decided to try the original x04 that I had packaged up and hey presto !! Bingo bango working great I've no idea why but its working!! After new headset :)

    Thanks to all advice / input / ideas all of which was greatly appreciated so thanks again !! After new headset :)

    I've had the same issue for over a month: I bought a steep headset today for ***, and it actually worked. I can hear people and they can hear me. You guys should try it. 49.99 at best buy for the official Xbox one headset.

    The only thing I can think of is a full factory restore which I really dont want to do unless its last resort! I've tried all other options and I spoke to ms last night which was a sheer and utter waste of time :(,final thing I can think of its something
    to do with the controller failing that I'm all out of ideas

    Sorry running out of ideas. Only other thing is ring TB support.
