After new headset

Looking at either turtle beach x01 or am I better going for the 04? Not really looking to spend too much on a headset and wouldn't go above £65

Or is there a better alternative thanks for any advice

Xbox One Stereo Headset (and possibly chat headset)- I can hear Game & System Audio but The microphone does not work

im having the same problem the headset is basically new and the headset can pick up sound and other people and im really sick of spending money on a new headset when they break after a few months

What are you wanting from the headset? (eg are you wanting directional sounds from footsteps)

 

No m8 just really use it for party chat but would like to use it more for when I'm gaming on my own especially at night but at the moment my main use for a headset has just been party chat

 

Do you need mic monitoring?

Have to ask, do you play fps and have you used a similar headset before?

 

I play plenty fps and at the moment I use turtle beach x12 with the adapter

 

XO4 is a great headset.

It comes with a controller to USB adaptor to update your controller as well as the "Headset Adaptor".

Once you've updated you'll get the full 360 degree stereo instead of just left and right.

I picked mine up to get the most out of "Alien: Isolation" and "The Evil Within".

They're great with pretty much everything else I play as well.

You should be able to get them for the price you're after too. Shop around if the first places you look are more expensive.

Ok got the headset I can hear a game no problem but its not showing up if I'm in a party there is no updates required on adaptor or controller am I missing something blatantly obvious?

No its not that m8 its not showing up as any mic connected when in party then I tried a drop in match on clubs on FIFA where you can talk but dont need to be in party chat and still showing as if I didn't have mic connected
