    After leaving insiders, save data was deleted


    A few weeks ago I left insiders. I didn't immediately do the 4.5g update as it would take too long, so decided to play persona 5 offline. I finished the game a few days ago at over 130 hours played in my completed save slot. Today I decided to install this update and when I logged back on the game my most recent save file was at 105 hours. I had overwritten the data many times over several days of playing so I have no idea how it happened or if I can recover my save files at all. Any help would be appreciated

    You CAN actually delete your save game data locally on your xbox and leave it in the cloud. Go to your games/apps section in dashboard and go to the game in question. There are options to delete the local save game data and save game data in the cloud. You
    can delete local data or delete local and cloud data.

    No! If you select Delete Profile Only, (as stated per eG x Thee Elf's previous post) it deletes the profile but leaves saved games and achievements.

    When you go into uninstall it shouldn't delete the saved game data, but to be sure you can always go into manage game & add ons, and just uninstall the game, being sure to leave the saved data, from there

    Elder Scrolls Online - Necrom DLC. released without xbox achievements for the fist 30 hours. Because of it, gamers that played the game on release are never able to unlock the DLC achievements.

    If you have access to a console, you can delete the data associated to your profile with these steps

    Go to "My games and applications", press start on the game where the problem occurs and then select "Manage game and add-ons", there go to Saved data and delete the saved data.

    I leave those steps in case you need them someday :)

    Doing a factory reset will not delete your games or data. You reset keeping all games and apps and your game save data will sync to the console from the cloud save.

    Are you by any chance part of the Xbox Insider Preview program?
