    Using the last firmware update the Xbox one controlled can be paired at the same time with an Xbox and as PC

    Unfortunately now when paired with a PC using a bluetooth connection is now recognized by windows as a generic 6-axis 16 keys joypad therefore it doesn't work anymore on the PC as an Xbox one controller (as just as an example in the Game cloud functionality of Game pass, in Flight Simulator, Forza Horizon 5, etc.)

    The faulty firmware is 5.11.3118.0, previous version was working perfectly (even if there was just the option to pair the joypad or to a PC or to an XBox, not both at the same time): unfortunately it seems there is no way to revert back to the previous one

    Do you actually have a original XBOX 360 Wireless controller (and not a 3rd party manufacturer's like CodeJunkies?) They informed Microsoft that there is an incompatibility issue with their 3rd party controllers and that a firmware update is required for
    the controllers to work correctly with the XBOX 360's latest dashboard update.

    I have the very same issue with my Xbox Elite Controller Series 2. Very annoying indeed.

    How can the Xbox firmware not be recognized by the PC software? Huge oversight by Microsoft...

    Glad someone found out what the issue was, I updated my console with my PC controller and now it won't work for Cloud gaming at all. I hope they fix this soon if possible.

    it's not a problem of the controller, it can be paired with the PC with no issue, unfortunately with the latest firmware is no more recognized as an Xbox controller when connectd using bluetooth

    In the joypad configuration panel when is wired connect it is reported as a "Controller (Xbox One For Windows)", when connected using bluetooth is reported as a generic "6-axis 16-buttons game pad with hat switch"

    With previous firmware version it was reported as "Controller (Xbox One For Windows)" for both (even when connected with bluetooth)

    It's a firmware bug
