After July update can't detect externel harddrive.

Checked for updates, ran through troubleshootng tips , hard reset console. Stil won't detect my Seagate 2t external harddrive, that i've been using for 4 years now. Every new update bring more problems that frustrate the console owners.

As the title asks will there be an update so i can play things from my externel hard drive or usb stick ?

 

July Update Causing Issues

Shortly after the July update to my Xbox One X, my system has been having issues. Every time I turn it on after a prolonged period of time, it can’t detect any wireless networks. I refuse to believe that it is an issue with my router due to the fact that
everything else in my house can detect it. I end up doing a hard restart to get it back detecting networks again. But then it ends up being unable to detect the network the next day. Am I the only one having this issue as of late? Help please.

 

Does the harddrive still show up on your PC when you connect it?

 

For your 2TB external have you tried to connect to another USB port on the XB1? or on a PC computer? sometimes on the rare occasion that the cable can go bad, so you may want to check the cable...
