I was trying to purchase a song for Rock Band 3 on my Xbox 360, but I kept receiving error message 80153016. I found this support page, which told me to delete Marketplace System Data and clear the System Cache: Error 80153016 | Xbox 360 Purchase Error

Those steps did not fix the problem -- I still was unable to purchase the song. However, now I have a bigger problem -- after deleting the Marketplace System Data and clearing the System Cache, Rock Band Blitz now freezes whenever I try to play a song. The
freeze happens no more than a minute or so into the song. When I look at where the Marketplace System Data used to be, it is no longer there, so I am suspicious that its absence might be the cause of the freezes. Is there a way to restore the Marketplace System
Data after deleting it? Or might there be some other solution to this problem? Thank you in advance for your help.

My DLC will not work.

Not sure about the Halo part, but try the below to try and solve the Rock Band/ Guitar Hero dillema.

From the Xbox dashboard, go to My Xbox > System Settings

Select Memory

Choose the device where you have Rock Band/Guitar Hero saved

Go to Games

Find Rock Band/ Guitar Hero

In the saved items you have for this game, locate the file called "Rock Band Song Cache"

- the type for file will show as "Saved Game"

DELETE this file

Once you do the above, redownload the songs and it should then start downloading them and they should show up.

This usually clears up the issues with songs not transferring over between Rock Band/ Guitar Hero. Let me know if it works.

On Demand Cannot Download

Try clearing the Marketplace System Data in between deleting the corrupted file and clearing the system cache. The Marketplace System Data is a cache specific to the Marketplace and there could be something corrupt in there that is causing the problem. Deleting
this cache will not affect anything.

You can find the Marketplace System Data in Storage under System Items.

Try clearing the cache. To clear the system cache. Press the Guide button on your controller, go to Settings, and select System Settings. Highlight any storage device, and then press Y on your controller. (It doesn't matter which storage device you select;
the cache will be cleared for all storage devices.)

Hey mate, did you also try deleting the marketplace data? If not check to make sure there isn't a partial download of the game on your HDD and delete the marketplace data and try to re-download again.
