when the servers went down yesterday it was hacked my question is will it happen again on xmas?

Ban after being hacked.

So, in February, my account was hacked and several purchases were made that were not authorized. After resetting my password and updating all of the security I could on my account, I contacted my bank to start a dispute. After the bank upheld the dispute,
Microsoft decided to ban my account for a couple of weeks due to Marketplace Theft. My account is not secure and I get a ban. Gee, thanks. The purchases were not downloaded to my console and are not being used by me. But still, a ban. Awesome. Apparently there
is nothing I can do. Just wanted to complain.

Did you contact support and have them run an unauthorized access investigation at the time? If you didn't contact Microsoft and just went straight to your bank to dispute it, that's why they see it as marketplace theft. Microsoft wouldn't know that it wasn't
you that didn't make the purchases. They would just see that you made purchases and then went to the bank to get the money back which makes it look like you're trying to get out of paying.

 

I think all this "hacking" business is an inside job.
