After applying patch on 3-20-2017, can no longer load campaign saved games

Update on this. The game seemed to still have my progress tracked, although any of my saved games were no longer usable, I was able to save new games over the existing, and those worked fine. I had to go to the campaign menu, and select the mission I left
off on (FOUNDRY) and start from the beginning.. Good thing I left off in the beginning of that mission and in essence didn't lose any progress. Still this is a major bug that should have not made it to go live.....

I can only assume that one of my granddaughters had installed a patch at some point.

I logged into an account that has never played Skyrim. Started a new game and saved at the first chance. Exited and restarted skyrim and it loads.

So I went hunting for some issues similar to mine. I found a tutorial on how to get to older patches of games here:

I downloaded the patch from 09. Nov 11 and applied it. Still no love. I started working up the list 10. Nov 11, then 20. Nov 11 and finally patch 30. Nov 11. And it finally loads. This date corresponds to when two of my granddaughters were playing. Neither
remembers saying yes to an update and I know I didn't. One of us must have. Anyway, the games load now.

I am left with a quandary of questions...

Why save game 001 wouldn't load (and does now) when it pre-dates the patch I applied as I started my game on 11/11/11, release day.

If this patch was applied back in November, where did it go recently? Until I found I couldn't load any games I have not cleared the cache on the XBOX.

Anyway, leaving the info in this thread in case others find it a help in getting to older patches, for perhaps similar reasons.

yeap morrowind taught me the wonders of making your saves take up less space.

shut every door/gate behind you.

dont leave random stuff on the ground.

pick up enemy weapons that fall out of there hand and drop it in their inventory.

and most importantly never ever save over a save; ive heard it keeps the memory of the original save which in turn creates longer load times and a higher chance for freezing.

also not sure if this applies to oblivion but in skyrim ive noticed if you have alot of diffrent saves, each save takes a little longer to load [ex if you have 400 seprate saves, all those save take longer to load.] but if you have say 20 saves load times
will be fine.
